Best place for Reel Hose. Set up my 2nd reel with new. atm using 8mm inner. Window cleaning warehouse have a good choice. anyone purchased any from them . Is it as flexible as they say . Coming in at £78.50 Yellow

I got some off ebay once it was far too stiff . hardly used it

Obviously, each batch of hose manufactured won't be exactly the same as the last produced.

We got a roll of 8mm minibore from Gardiners before they gave up selling it. It's in use every day and is used with both hot and cold water.
It's always served as well. Daqua sells the same hose that Gardiners did.

Dragging minibore around is more cumbersome than microbore, so I prefer to use microbore. However, the microbore hose on my reel seems much stiffer using cold these days. I did here that every time we put a heat cycle through the hose it becomes stiffer.

Yes I agree if you use hose with hot water then use it for cold it is much stiffer/ harder I think the heat does something to it

Ive only used yellow minibore, 8mm bought from pure freedom when I started 7 years ago. Has been fine. Looking at their site now, it looks like all called microbore, with all different mm.

Microbore with hot water all day long....

If your using 100 8mm hose on your reel with cold water your just making your working day a lot harder than it needs to be IMO...

I use the red hot water hose from window cleaning warehouse. My current hose is around 3 years old and still in good condition and bin lorries and trucks run over it every day!
