Quoted a small commercial solar array today (on a farm I already clean) so tested the water on site to see if I could double Di to make the job a bit easier - tested it 4 times before I realised it was from a bore hole!!!! 

Yes the TDS meter does say 1083ppm!!!! Ouch!!!

It’s certainly put me off investing in a bore hole - it would be cheaper to move to a house without a water meter ?‍

I just tried to input it in Gardiner's resin calculator, but it only goes up to 999 ?

Theoretically, it looks like it would cost about £0.15 per litre to DI ?

I was thinking the wife’s tights - obviously when she’s not in them (hate to think what the TDS would be then?!?)

Or bypass the water meter whenever you're purifying... Not that I would condone such ludicrous behaviour ?

Not possible @P4dstar my water meter is in the road at the front of the house. Plus a guy from the water board lives across the road and I’ve already queried the ‘possible’ options.
