I said exactly the same thing, Posh. I was adamant. Still do the odd bungalow trad, just cos it's just one, and I ain't dragging my equipment out for that. But anything else stick waggling all the way. Once u got that water running, and done your tops, trust me, u just carry on with the pole to do bottoms. It's one of them - U think u will, but u won't! Lol

I used my 18" liquidator on a job for first time today. Went well.

Explain to me those wagtails?!! I've bought one, but that pad is only an inch wide???? Yours is about 3"!! I just can't see how I'm supposed to clean a 10x10ft window with a 1" pad....

Mine is the standard "flipper" pad (forget the rounded ends, I did that) that comes with slimline and orbital flippers. Depending on how you use it you can have it flipping under or over the channel. The one you have will be the PG strip, effectively a light scrub or lubricating strip.

That sir is the "Precision Glide"...That pad is simply there to add slip to mildly soiled windows but in the main should be used in conjunction with a traditional scrubber. Check out Wagga's video on YouTube... [media]

I personally would think the flipper would be best for high internal. No need to buy another one though, just order the following: (I'm assuming your PG is 14", if not adjust order accordingly).

1x 14" Slimline Flipper Pad.

1x set 14" Orbital clips

You now have the option of 2 styles of Wagtail.

PG ...as you have it now.

Flipper...remove PG Pad, reverse clips so that the fins are on top, attach flipper pad with orbital clips and 'voila' PC Flipper...

I love the Liquidator channels with the Wag handles. Worked a monthly commercial today with 14" Wagulator flipper on a pole and 18" and separate scrubber on ground level plate glass. Magical. ...Just ensure that you have enough slip. Any sign of 'grab' add more to the bucket...

Wagtails are no good on a dirty window the pad does not hold enough water.

ok on a small clean window. no good for patio doors or a big window pad dries out quickly.

liked mine when i first got it but soon found out it was no good for the things i mentioned above. i tried a home made pad made from an old applicator sleeve but it just never held enough water. if you clean small clean windows you will love it speeds you right up.

There are very few of my commercials that the standard Wagtail flipper pad falls short. With very large commercial internal with central heating blasting you are going to have issues with whatever scrubber you use. It's just a workflow adjustment if you're having issues. Work along the top half of large glass panels then come back doing the lower half. I honestly have no problems and the convenience of pad attached to squeegee, especially on a pole cannot be emphasised enough.
