Controller Problem

I have the Variflo with charging facility. It seems like it could be on the way out. It's not a year old yet. The problem is, sometimes when I switch it on it just clicks and nothing happens. I wait a few seconds and switch it on again and it will turn on. I'm pretty sure it cut out today as well. I'm sure I turned it on, reeled out about 50m, turned tap on and nothing. Walked back to find it switched off.

Any ideas folks?

check the power cables, as mine use to do that and a cable was loose
