BOAB- gathered soap/water leaving squeegee wet

Thanks for all the advice guys and I will def get a decent spray bottle.

At the moment I'm using ecover.  I've got to be honest i don't find the slick that great even when i increase the soap ratio even making it almost too soapy.  I've seen wagga on youtube recommend Aldi hand soap - anybody tried this?  Or alternatives?

I didn't mention in the vid, but I stopped using washing up liquid a few years ago, because it created too much suds, which got into the back of the squeegee and then came off onto the glass when I went to blade it. If I reduced the washing up liquid there wasn't enough soap. So now I use Ettore's 'squeegee off', but in a very strong mix - 18cc to 5 litres of water. It does not give a lot of suds, but works very quickly on bird mess and insect spots.
