Ive finally decided to buy what I think will get me by wfp. A slx 22 or 25 (prob only the odd 2nd floor on town houses) gardiner backpack, ( will be doing bottoms trad)  4021 ro from daqua, 11 litre di, resin,  not sure what else hose wise , think ive read on here a uni valve to turn hose on and off quick on pole. will be making pure at home and storing in water butts and transferring to barrels, guess prob need a submersible for that? Money well drained after that so Im just hoping I wont have to try and get money for water softener as well. They dont mention much about that on the various sites, utube clips etc. Our water is terrible in suffolk (550 odd) But am hoping if ro is flushed after each use will be ok. will probably only make the pure once a week as wont be a too heavy user, especially to start. Great to hear any ideas/views, much appreciated.

Personally wouldn't bother with softener, I fill up near Newmarket occasionally and know how bad the water is down there. What I would do, when finances permit, is go double DI.
Yes will bear that in mind mate, am on library pc at minute but going home now to bite the bullet and order the stuff. will feel good to get started, also will be harvesting some rain off the roof too so ro shouldnt get too battered.
