Some of us ..what i call the regulars..damo.you.and the old hands are all on the level i reckon but there certainly are some tall stories told on here

Had one last week said, 'don't bother this week. My daughter's got a nasty cough and I don't want you to catch it.' Not quite sure what she thought I was going to be doing. Best of it is her daughter wouldn't even be there.

Except for gaining access i find it's best to just turn up and clean. Texting em always gives them the opportunity to fob you off and save them ££££s

Even I can spot the bull shitters and I'm pretty new here. I think some people forget what they've written sometimes and then they contradict themselves.

I agree, I hate texting but need to a lot of the time for access. Just a PITA when they text back asking to leave them.

I've text 2 tonight. The only 2 for the whole week. The first one is as good as gold. He never replies but gate is unlocked and money left in a pot. The second one, a girl in her 30s and very fit usually forgets to leave the money out but at least she never cancels. Still annoying

It's not the undercutter I'm angry with its the customer the undercutter is an opportunitist trying to get work the customer is not one I want to keep lowlifes.

I think in 6 months time the. ***** is going to hit the fan Loads ofpeople will try windie lickin meaning prices will lower and Don't be taking it bad guys

Like I m taking on loads new customers done one last week got out set up and was bout to start guy comes out an says it was,eat to be a one off I said u asked to be signed up monthly

Messer but pack dump went to nxt job and moved job from database to one off database

**** happens move on

I spose I'm lucky in the fact that in 6 years of cleaning I still can't price properly lol

I still get a startled look when I give the price & 9 times out of 10 I get a that sounds great. I know then they were expecting more.

Plus I've never put my prices up. Spose I'm just happy to carry on & it earns me a good living without working my guts off so why try upsetting the apple cart.

So really my prices are quite hard to undercut unless someone worked for near enough nothing.

Same here @PoshI keep all my prices reasonable

There's always someone who will go silly low but you can't worry about them
There is a difference between good pricing and extortionate pricing

I quoted a friend of a good customer earlier

I told her £25 knowing really it was only worth 20

She said excellent the guy who does it when he bothers to eventually turn up is charging £45 but i haven't until now seen another window cleaner round here

45 for a 20 quid job is never gonna keep you in work
