Carbon poles

WCF

Help Support WCF:

There's about €2000 worth of broken carbon pipes here...

There were far more that that for the whole year.

The carbon poles are just not fit for a lot of work.

Need to know about using an aluminium...will they fit the skyvac hose pipe?
To be fair the release poles are a nightmare, and in my opinion, aren't fit for purpose. Rather than use them we either disconnect the hose or turn the vac off. With the Inteceptor you can blow the blockage out if stuck.
Don't know how much work you do, and what height you work at, but I have carbon poles from 6 years ago, that have earned me a lot of money, that I will be using week after next. Yes they are getting very thin, and yes I won't be surprised if they snap, but I couldn't do anywhere near as much work, or anywhere near as high, with alloy poles.

I bet whoever snapped them has been doing big jobs, where the gutters are full of mud and they have been raising the built pole of the ground and they have snapped the sections raising them.

Once I start feeling weight in the pole I tend to flush it out. The best thing to do it is pump water into the gutter via WFP and that keeps the elites constantly flushed and light... Saves dropping the poles and drawing water via a bucket.

If they are heavy with mud I lean the pole against a building and dismantle it one section at a time.

I wouldn't give staff elites if this is how they are coming back to you.... Better off with alloy poles...
it's just general use. in my opinion the poles are not robust enough. they should be made stonger. hence looking at alternatives.

we need the open/close vent which is pipe 1.

i see spinaclean have a plastic pipe (but not a vented option). Maybe we could modify and put the vent onto one of those.

I've got the same set as you which is probably three years old and still going fine. If you snap one in the first year you know Spinaclean replace them for free if you contact them.
