first thing you need is a tds meter. If the tds is under 100, you can get away with a di vessel. Over that you need an Ro as well. Di vessels are around £100, ro is a fair bit more. If you go di only your looking at £450 to get up and running, that's backpack, pole, di, and containers to carry waterThanks - the CLX range looks relatively affordable from my point of view. Obviously, I'd need to get some more kit to produce the filtered water.
