Cleaning upvc window frames

WCF

Help Support WCF:

yeh with you on that Mart1001 i did the first twenty years and then had a ten year supposed to be five year break and am now gone full time but yes...there was no upvc cleans ...i dont even remember gutter clearouts...times have certainly changed and i must change with them....

I use wfp so the frames get cleaned every time. That said, when I started first time (late 80's) the glass was cleaned and cill wiped.

These days I say all frames and cills are included 'free' /emoticons/wink.png

That way if a mark is left on a frame there is no come back.

To be fair, you do the frames because wfp puts the water all over, so you can't really not do them. It's what they call 'added value' when you give something as a service, when in fact you can't help doing it.

I use one of these, does the job great.

I include the price of a glass clean in any upvc quote, so I spray all the plastics, use a magic sponge to scrub them and then clean the glass to finish.

I find the plastics a lot easier to clean if they soak for a bit, so I spray ahead as I clean.

I wouldn't do it any other way

Yes, as I thought. I do similar, as in use a hand spray. Cheers for that.
