Hi everyone, first time post on here so first and foremost… hello! 👋🏻

As we are approaching the freezing months I was wondering if people had any good recommendations for keeping their equipment from freezing:

A) in the van. Yes I can plug a heater in but I only have on street parking so don’t really want to be running extensions from my living room across the road. Does anyone have any good recommendations for insulating or covering their pipes and hose reels?

B) in the garden. My filtration system is in a small Keter shed which I plug into my van. Any recommendations to protect the RO and filters?

Thanks in advance all!

The one in the garden is Fu**ed mate, There isn't enough insulation to make a Keter storage system survive minus temps IMHO. With regards to your van insulate it like a camper. Take your poles in, reel too if possible.

Not really the immersion will keep the water warm but you will have to drive side to side to get it to mix round. You would still need to take hoses etc ideally have both

Totally wrong my van is toasty like a massive radiator the water stay warm to the end of the day I have fixed x2 electric reels plus my tank is insulated and still warms the van up lovely.
Not sure what immersion set up you have seen and used but mine and a couple of others I know as completely opposite to what you say.

My main reel is on top of the tank so hose is toasty warm from the off 👍

I have installed well my friend as diesel heaters in a couple camper vans and shed that are great if especially if you can’t run extension cable out but I know what I prefer 👍

Well I don't think mine would stop it all freezing maybe as the tank is insulated well. But it works for you so great
