Hiya, 

Yeh just another little thing, wonder if anyone has a simple solution. You know the blue connector things that come with controller etc, to connect wires to pump/battery etc. Well, they pull away/come lose kinda thing fairly easy.  Would it be ok to put insulating tape over them for extra support?  Much obliged for ideas lads.

If you mean that the wires pull out of them easy then you need to crimp them a bit tighter. They are good if crimped properly.

However, sometimes the connectors themselves pull apart easy. If this is the case there will be a poor electrical connection. So I usually pull them apart and take a pair of pliers to the female half and pinch them a bit, then push them back together. If done properly they shouldn't come apart easy.

we've utilised some of those chocolate block connectors (as my dad calls them) but much appreciated for help, handy to know these bits and bobs, cheers.
