Convert SLX 35 to 25 (and be insulated)

Anyone know if i can get a new handle section for a SLX that won't conduct instead of shelling out for a whole new 25ft pole or just getting the end cap for few quid but being electrically challenged ?

I've got a brand new one at home. 

Gardiner want about £80 with the vat.

I'd take £50, no idea how to get it to you though.
