My household water has gone up to £84 a month from £71! Bloody south west water.

Wondering if I might actually be better off on a meter.

mines about 450 a year, 250 for water, 200 sewerage. since i've moved, this place also has an extra 15 quid charge for drainage! i phoned up to object saying there's drainage everywhere but was talking to the wall.

but 80 odd a month, phew! i assumed that was on a meter, i shudder to think what it'd be if you went on one wfp!

by the way, those on meters can apply to the water board for a seperate meter for business use- it's about a third of the cost apparently, so i hear
