Decking Stripped & Painted

Just need to be sensible. A still, warm day and masking as required but the speed of application make it so worth it. Especially on something like decking or fences where brushing into nooks and crannies will take forever. Ever tried to get full coverage underneath a handrail and spindles with a brush? Another scenario where the Erbauer is the better machine as you can change fan pattern and reduce paint flow to give you a fairly narrow pattern ideal for this. The control is nothing like the full adjustability on a ‘proper’ spray gun but very easy to get used to.

And to be fair I’ve seen plenty of customers and ‘pros’ for that matter get paint all over the place with a brush let alone a spray gun, so don’t blame the tools. ?

For covering big stuff like clients cars I use the static cling plastic sheet. Forget the brand but it’s about £15 for a 4m x 50m roll in toolstation. Brilliant stuff.

The reason ime so familiar with overspray is by trade ime a sprayer and panel beater, but have seen some awful paint jobs on fences and decking wether sprayed or brushed you are right there ???? some get more on the nearest wall or the ground rather than on the item needing painting ???
