device to stop pole hose pulling

somebody on here came up with a 8mm hose connector converted into a thing that goes between the brush and pole to stop the hose pulling ,
anyone remember?

thats a very flash version of the one I've got!!

I used a JG fitting cut off just the bit I needed it was a T-piece I've got a few spare

I use a double ear o ring clamped on the pole hose just at above the hole in the gooseneck. Cheap and easy, job done?

Me too. Also took a hacksaw and file to my angled gooseneck. Cut a piece out so it wasn't pulling against an angled surface. Dunno if the second step was really necessary but it made sense to me and it worked well whilst I was using Univalve.

Yep I agree, you're better off just changing the gooseneck over to the new type then you don't need them at all.

Just make sure you have the spare push fit connectors with new gooseneck I have univaulve and broken 3 of them in last year
