So if u put anti freeze in the tank it wont leave marks on windows when its dry? I need to use this because it sooo cold , how much anti freeze do i put in my tank? From my tank it goes through the resin bottle and out my pole is that still ok? Loads of questions /emoticons/smile.png

Dont put anti-freeze in with WFP, I wouldn't advise that, I was reffering to Trad

Ok well answer to whats best on stopping the water freezing on glass (trad method) meths or screenwash is ........(drum roll please).........

dont really bloody matter! lol, used screenwash on my first shop at 6 this morning and meths on the second about 6.15 and my temp gage was reading -8 ! and they were both fine, defenitly would have froze without them, if i was to say one thing tho found the screen wash slightly better to blade off but yeah both good

If your planning to use Antifreeze read this before you use Antifreeze http://www.seco.noaa.gov/ENV/Factsheets/antifreeze.html

Methylated spirits or other alcohol based liquid should be okay freezes at about -15oC

Screen wash is good but can freeze at about -2oC

Well my screen wash in my car is frozen at -1 lol and its the expensive one.

When you tested the meths/screen wash I presume you still use your normal cleaning solution and just add this??

I think you need to take a trip to halfords my friend!

The blue stuff(I buy from shell as it does not smear!!!!) goes down to minus 5

The pink stuff(from halfords or tesco) goes down to minus 9

The purple stuff from halfords goes down to minus 25

well i got some red stuff from bnq and i tell thee its frozen says -20 on the bottle?load of tosh lol.

another day indoors for me out tomorrow and sat hopefully.

yes mate just added it to my solution and water worked well, think i,ll stick to buying meths inatead of screenwash, cheaper to buy and does the same job

I checked the PPM of my anit-freeze it was 687 lol. Screen wash was 40

Wow I never had that, I guess it was down to screen wash, but must admit, that the foam, on the side of the bucket was turning to ice.

Scrims started to build up ice in them too!

and so did my wet glove, everytime I looked away worked then looked at gloves they kept turning to ice!

Seal skin gloves are good but if wet(still kept hands dry) my hands would go cold lol
