now i tryed a mk1 wich only lasted 8 months so was very dissapointed  are the new ones now lasting longer  im going to replace my xline once its wore out with eather a neon or a extreme mk3  but there is no info on the neon but i can get a ider going buy the pheonix the clamps are very nice on the neon  anty pinch ect  do i take a chance on the neon or go with the extreme wich is cheeper and cheeper spair sections ?

 
its odd that there is only one review on the neon wich is usless

I had the mk2 last year but hated it.  The sections really bonded when it got a bit dirty or wet and the action when extending or closing was dreadful after a few months.  Ended up flogging it as it was a spare anyway.

Had my Gardiner SLX22 for 2 years in May and it's still fantastic.  It's about to be replaced with a 30 as I've taken on more 3/4 story houses as of late and need the extra reach, but for a pole used 5-6 days a week it's still doing its job (and cheaper than the Phoenix too).
