franchise or employ? experienced opinions.

I really need to do one or the other.

I did try employing last year but the guy turned his phone off on the first day and never heard from his since, put me right off.

I am considering an Ian Lancaster franchise package but I'm not 100% sure what to do.

Has anyone franchised here? Would it be a better option to employing?

 @Green Pro Clean Ltd would be a good one to ask as he has employed and looked at/set up franchises.
