So, if you were a car mechanic, he'd expect you to fix his car for nowt would he or any other trade come to think of it. He's blackmailing you. Get advice from Citizens Advice Bureau. Go round and ask him what he thinks he's up to and while you're at it insert a slither of bamboo in the door lock (read that elsewhere )

Also look for somewhere else to live.

If your are going to send him an email I would craft the email very carefuly to include his previous phone call to you then he might reply or just phone you up again out of the blue with more threats.
