i got the same one for my gardiner back pack about 14 quid from aldi about six months agoGot a folding ally lightweight trolley for my backpack so much easier now.
Thats for sure only use mine about twice a month now but used to use it every day until i fitted van mounted systemGot this on eBay was about £20 defo easier than carrying lol.
That's not the pressure switch that's inside the backpack. The gardiners backpack flow is on the side?
Why would you need to adjust the pressure switch? That's not the pressure switch that's inside the backpack.
I need to adjust it because the pvc 5.5mm hose I am using is twisting and because the air temperature has increased the hose is stiffening so the pressure needs reducing, depending on your set up and hose type every system is different and yes it is a hassle on the gardiner backpacks as the switch screw is under the pump and to get at it I have to lie the pack down I actually need it upright so I can adjust the screw while it's in operation. Why would you need to adjust the pressure switch? If it is because it doesn't dead end at the pressure you want then that isn't a big issue is it?
Bearing in mind it is designed as a crop sprayer it may need a little tweak to use it as a wfp delivery system
No hassle to open it..adjust a screw..put it back together again
Daveyboy when you switch the flow off does your backpack make a horrible like ticking soundWhy would you need to adjust the pressure switch? If it is because it doesn't dead end at the pressure you want then that isn't a big issue is it?

its a bit awkward on deep gravel because of the small narrow wheelsNot sure that trolley would cope with deep gravel or stone steps......
I dialed my flow down by installing a valve on the water line next to the backpack. It's set at a very low rate and the turn off and on lever has been removed. The flow rate is perfect now. That what Alex Gardiner told me to do.used my back pack today was on full power run out of water after about five Windows is it me being over cautious and wasting to much time or does the backpack need dialling down.
Thank.
Den.
I also use a second valve to turn my water on and off as I work. I carry it in my hand like Alex Gardiner as I work.I dialed my flow down by installing a valve on the water line next to the backpack. I have the same on/off valve on my pole, backpack dial set at roughly 4 o'clock as recommended by Daveyboy and that seems to be spot on for me.I also use a second valve to turn my water on and off as I work. I carry it in my hand like Alex Gardiner as I work.
