Good afternoon.
Does anybody here use the Gardiner swivel sockets - either the straight or the 30⁰ one, like below please? They look very good.
I have a swivel gooseneck, that fits into the square quick lock brush socket, but have been tempted to try these so that the swivel is closer to the brush head.
Thank you.

I use a swivel on one awkward job every 3 months. That's it. I don't get on well using a swivel. I prefer working with a fixed brush head.

I have a number of conservatory cleans that one side is close to the fence. So I clean those from the side. A swivel brush doesn't work when scrubbing the sill. The brush can only work when the full brush head is on the sill.

If I'm working to the side cleaning a window, say over a conservatory roof, I can get into the upper corners of the frame by twisting the brush head around.

We use both an extended one, 3rd picture and the last of the 4 pictures, both really good for windows but terrible for fascia. Just ignore the dinosaurs :ROFLMAO:

Totally agree. I tried a swivel for a whole week. Couldn’t wait to throw it in the bin next to the fan jets I’d tried 🙂

We have them but took them off the poles when doing plastic cleans years ago and never put them back on staff aren’t keen on them they do have there place but if you have a bit of stubborn bird poo you can’t use the end of the brush to scrub it as it keeps moving .

Yep! This too with regard to using the edge of the brush to remove bird:s poo.

I use a swivel too. Wouldn't be without it. You just need to give it time and master it. I have hot water, but even with cold I find if you soak bird muck first, do another window then come back then it's easy to remove. No need to use brush stock. I have no problem doing sills either, and in fact downstairs I find it Easter to do sills with a swivel. Especially when the window is close to a wall or fence.

Turn the brush on its side then scrub left to right the swivel doesn't rotate and bristles catch on the sh-ite as it's must more raised, some can still be a bit stubborn but I have found this works best, from a cold water user 🦾

I even use a swivel on gsf, I find that it enables me to get behind the gutters and under soffit without changing the gooseneck angles. I find it great on gutter brackets too, I can sort of do a curve from gutter round the bracket to the fascia.
Thinking about it I meant to change to a fixed gooseneck when I did a render clean yesterday but I now realise I forgot! Went OK apart from a bit of historic staining.

Agreed to all of the above (positive views that is lol) tried a swivel within 18 mintsbof starting and it lasted 1 job til I got fed up. Fast forward another 18 months and gave it another go with my increased pole control and loved it

5 years after that I agree swivels and univalve are best inventions for time saved and ease if cleaning. I use the quickloq adapter as I like to be able to swap brushes if needed but have the ones you've posted pics of just never used them so can't comment.

Fantastic down sides of Connys, doors above Connys all sorts it just helps the flow of cleaning. Agree with @ched999uk even on FSG they work, or can easily nip the screw for slightly stiffer operation.

When I drive past cleaners with fixed heads it just looks clumsy and awkward.

I have mine loose but they can be adjusted to be tighter too. When I'm training chaps I show them how effortless it can be with a swivel on your brush. You can stand to the side instead of trying to get the window head on every single time. Complete game changer for me.
