Is anyone using the Green PU pole hose from gardiners, I was about to get some blue hose for my uni valve from ex ceed @ £12+ delivery taking it to nearly £17 for 10m, i forgot to get some when i got my Univalve a few weeks ago which i havent fitted yet. need my hose. Doohh. Gardiners green PU Pole hose around £14 for 30m.

Is there any differene apart from colour.

I tried a number of different PU hoses, including the blue exceed hose I got with my univalves, before Gardiners introduced theirs and found them all a challenge to work with. (Not unmanageable, just a challenge.) The Green hose from Gardiners was easier to use from the start and works well with the Univalve

Got the blue when it just came out and it works very well. Bought some more the other week and it's coiling amd twisting very badly. Hopefully just because it new

been using green hose last week and I have found it realy nice to work with up to now I liked the blue hose but found it coiled a lot and struggled with it a lot more, prefer green gardiner hose up to now and feels more flexible to me almost slightly rubbery? I use with univalve and works for me.. still fancy the rhino tube but don't think can get in uk still?

If you have an old wok or other large pan you can use, coil your hose up and boil it for five minutes. Then when its all soft and pliable lay it out straight and let it go cold. Then recoil it. This worked for me. Stretched it out in the car park at the rear of my house. Never had to do it with the green stuff though. Just worked well straight out the box

gardiners it is then, ive been using the blue for around 1 1/2 years now, no issues when it was £10 for 10m, but @ £17 ?

im getting a new brush & bits so ill get my green as well from Gardiners to get my univalve on, see what its all about

Agree the green does coil still but seems to come out and lay easier, somehow seems easier and nicer to work with for me personally and doesn't seem quite as stiff as the blue even in cold weather, green winner for me at the moment, univalve is mint by the way thanks to all on here for recommending best £30 notes ive spent... love it...

When you have unreeled your hose and before you connect up to your pole, try untwisting the hose by rolling it in your fingers till it lays flat and straight. I find doing this really helps. I seldom have problems using PU hose managing it like this. Always lays nice and flat, especially Gardiner's green PU.
