Depends what you want from a brush and your cleaning style?

Does weight matter?

How hard do you press on the brush when scrubbing?

Do you clean 4 weekly work or longer frequency?

These brushes all have their +/-'s, what are you currently using? Does it work well for you?

I have all these brushes, I am particularly impressed with the extreme sills (flocked is awesome).

The DuPont superlight is very aggressive, I'm not 100% on the TaperTec yet. I miss the drag you get from the natural fibres on the previous version, I keep trying it out but dont keep it on for long.

I have just brought the Xtreme flocked sill brush which arrived yesterday when I was at work.

I did not work today because of the rain but I'm really looking forward to trying my new brush tomorrow. I used it on my own house today briefly and it felt brilliant. Lovely and light but good scrubbing power.

I find it has amazing scrubbing power, I cant stop using it.

I put a rinse bar on it and it seems the new extreme sill brushes were made with the rinse bar in mind, slow down your technique and end up being much quicker. I love these new brushes.

I’m still waiting for the holy grail, 35cm extreme sill brush with DuPont and natural fibres, I can only hope.
The 14" extreme with natural fibre is soon to be discontinued, Its my favourite brush so I've just ordered one.

First day using the Xtreme flocked sill brush and I have to say it's awesome.

My normal every day brush is the ultimate medium soft mixed brush but this new sill brush is just as good with regards to scrubbing power if not better but with the added bonus of it being a sill brush AND another nice bonus is that its 40g lighter. All in all very happy with my new brush.

Sorry for delay, had to think about answer. I use an xline sill with rinse bar 26cm but, but iam using a 26cm dual trim mono super lite(that some one gave me a 18 months ago) With out my usual swivel,it has pencil jets, and iam enjoying it v/much. it cleans sills a treat, because of the extra preasure I can apply, with out the swivel. The angle I set for upstairs, manages both windows and sills,to the point where a sill brush is no longer nesesary. What a revelation as ive always used a sill. The long brisels on the S/lite get in better between frames .My xline dosent have side bristles, something I always thought  would be an advantage, but if iam carefull with the s/lite I can manage sides(by brickwork) quite well.                                                                     I met Squeaky Dave at the recent cleaning show, and he showed me his pole set up,my immediate reaction was the brush head felt heavy it was a 35cm something ive never realy ecounterd, but I had been thinking of getting ,to help me speed up,not shure what it was but I might be in the market fo a lighter version.thanks

I was looking at the gardiners webb site last night, and it appears that I have the super lite with the shorter bristles,as the stock is grey, think it must be discontinued as its not advertised, but mentioned in the brush video. As I mentioned in the previous text, the brush cleans in between frames seeminly beter than the xline, and I had thought the bristles must be longer, imust check today. If normal super lite bristles are even longer, maybe I should get one,i could clean my backside at the same time.

The super light compact are now discontinued I bought a few of the flocked versions before they sold out.

Been out to measure length of bristles, their two and one quarter inch long. The stock is grey, but iy might have been black and just gone grey with age and use.Works lovely though, all bristles up straight. So don't know what it is? So if your out there Bonnie Tyler,I need a Hero to...

You will have an older Super-Lite Compact Medium-Mixed brush ?

We discontinued them because they simply did not sell as well as the standard Super-Lites and then we also introduced the same bristle length Ultimate brushes which were much more popular due to the lighter weight.

So if you ever need to replace this older brush the Ultimate brushes are the same bristle splay and length, but have slightly less dense bristle bunches - hence the lighter weight.

If you want a brush that is the same bristle bunch density and length as the older Compact Super-Lites but even better cleaning then the new Super-Lite Full DuPont brush uses the same setup.
