My circulation must be getting worse! Can’t remember my fingers getting so cold, these past two winters I’ve struggled and I don’t think they have been particularly cold ones. Been through the regular gloves mentioned on here and not found the holy grail yet.
Anyone tried expensive heated gloves battery powered. Any good? I’m ready to spend 🥶

I haven’t but I have tried all the aforementioned gloves from previous posts (or 99% of). I always come back to the same thing, the part between the thumb and forefinger wears away very quickly with pole use.

The biggest benefit for your fingers comes from your core and your circulation. Wrap up your core warm (base layers, extra layers etc and your body will have more ability to look after your fingers and toes. My brother in law worked with me for a while and insisted on this. I was surprised but he was correct!

My circulation has also got worse the last year or two. I have tried a few different gloves but find a pair of cheap woolen gloves and then put some latex or nitrile gloves over the top then that's quite a bit better.

hi mate,it sounds like you are getting or have raynauds disease/syndrome, don't panic its very common, in real life what happens is that your hands or feet get cold very cold or your fingers can become white at the ends its, just down to your body bringing the heat inside itself to conserve core body heat,i have found compression sleeves on the arms works wonders and also some mittens i found on the web a few years ago-they really help me, stress does not help your cold hands if you can ebay german army mitts or mittens these are extreme weather ski mittens designed to work at temperatures where we would just stay at home because its just too cold. they are mittens and if your hands are that cold you can at least ball your four fingers together to get them warm and still work, they don't slow me down with the clamps etc, i'm glad that you brought this up as i ebayed them for you and bought another pair-they do last for years but at just under a tenner for a pre used pair i'm good with that, or new at £22 ish,

Interesting I find my fingers have less colour in them when very cold when this happens I can also feel sick. I think I have a pair of those gloves, I picked them up at a car boot sale for hiking ex army stall . Do the have a place synthetic wool like material inside with an additional trigger finger? I’ve not attempted to use them for cleaning because they were mittens and assumed they’d be cumbersome but I’ll give it a go, it can’t be worse than frozen digits!

Not for window cleaning but a couple of years ago I bought some of these: Heated mittens £7. They have small, 40mm ish heating pads that velcro into the woollen mittens. You can remove the elements and velcro them into your best gloves. They would only heat the back of your hand but that might be enough to help your fingers.
They are powered by a usb power bank - not supplied but any one that can supply 2.1Amps will work.

I’ll have a look at these cheap enough to have a try

My wife suffers from Reynards so I’ve dipped my toes into heated gloves. Tried some cheap ones off Temu with a power bank in my pocket which were good but ultimately only lasted a few days because the wires gave up. I’ve got some others cheap again that look like ski gloves with a battery pack. They are ok but I only use them occasionally due to the faff of recharging all the time.
What we are using atm is a good thermal woollen glove inner with a waterproof Showa outer plus a hot hands hand warmer tucked inside. I’m finding this set up is cheap and effective.
