Hi , just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I am a window cleaner of 30 years, prefer traditional but obviously wfp is taking over 😅
I have a question regarding my tank. I have one outlet and want to know what size of t-piece or y-piece i need to connect onto it so I can run 2 pumps from the one hole . I hope that makes sense. Tia

Smaller tanks could have a 3/4" BSP tank outlet and bigger tanks a 1" BSP outlet.

Daqua.co.uk sell either a 3/4" or 1" BSP outlet with a barb that will suit 1/2", 3/4" or 1" hose.

https://www.daqua.co.uk/baffleduprighttanks.htm toward the bottom of the web page.

My first van system I had a 1" outlet to a 1/2" hose barb.

One single length of 1/2" hose with 2 x 1/2" tee pieces was ample to supply both wfp pumps for both of us. Then we don't run our Varistream controllers faster than the equivalent of 40 on Spring Europe made controllers.

If I wanted to stop the flow of water from the tank, then I used a C clamp to squeeze the plastic pipe shut. This system was transferred to my next van and remained the same for 12 years.

On my current van, I fitted a 1" BSP to 3/4" brass reducer, a 3/4" ball valve followed by a 3/4" to 1/2" brass Tee Piece. I still use the same fittings to supply both pumps and a drain valve, which I also sometimes used to fill the backpack. The other take-off is used for another pump connected to my diesel heater.
