Hit a problem for first time

Recently I have converted about 70 tenements to wfp, just about all of them turn out great even though some windows don't curtain when rinsed still they are fine but, 4 tenements just don't turn out well at all in fact they look worse after they are done even though I've tried with pump on boost to get them right. I can tell by the way the water reacts on the glass there has been some chemical used on them as droplets of water are very fine and the way the water seems to evaporate is not right. These tenements have been rough casted a couple of years ago and blue builders film was used to protect windows, I know this film can be a nightmare to get off so I'm wondering if some have been taken off with an alcohol based chemical, its the first time in 5 years I've come across this any ideas how I can get round it because honestly the windows looked awful.

When you say the glass looks awful how do you mean?

Have you tried a test using chems/rubbing componds. brass wool or scrapper on the glass yourself?

Tiny small spots that look like dirt so the pure water seems to be reacting with something Smurf. Never had an issue like this before i guess 4 is not a bad ratio but had previously done them trad no probs. The spots look similar to limescale spots only allot smaller. But they can be cleaned off but when wfp them again same thing happens. I know its not a ppm issue or a rinsing issue,

Sounds very odd...are you sure it's not just very fine particles of dirt remaining on the glass when you try to rinse them down?

Maybe but this time round I gave them a right good going over made no difference. The way the water is reacting on windows is like when you throw a bucket of water over a waxed car all the water disperses in tiny droplets instead of running down window very strange.

Are the droplets in a straight line that you are having a problem with?

There are two types of glass one curtains the water and the other beads up with this one try rinsing off in a zigzag motion to bring all dirt particles off then a quick zigzag again to make sure. Hope this helps

Thanks mate the glass that doesn't curtain turns out fine for me this is something different something I havnt seen before in 5 years of wfp.

Tuffers the droplets are not normal beads they are small. The way the water disperses very quickly in to small beads I have only seen when water hits something with an chemical coating if you know what I mean.

I've just sent an email to a company that makes/sells stainless steel wool for glass cleaning for a free sample which they are going to send me. Sounds like you need to go over the glass with steel or bronze wool to see if it makes any difference.

You may have to trad em instead
