Yes mate, I'm nearly going to click buy 2, just need to know if my rubber disc will squash through the gap.

why go to all that trouble ??? we just drill a hole in the side of the van fix a water fill point off a camper turn hose reel around job done heres my old 59 plate transit

Good idea, and looks a neat job in the side of the van, but one major drawback of doing that is it's a major trip/accident hazard coming out the van where it does, or worse still to a small child on a bike say that did not see it as they come bombing it down a path your pulled up by, could choke em and pull them off a bike.

Really pleased with it lads,

Works a treat, it's nice having the doors shut, just feels safer and neater to work from,

The point you made about noddys version is the reason I went for the floor trev, just not worth the risk, both work well, but I like the fact mines flat on the floor all the time

just like putting a hose reel on the floor out side the van the same kid crashing in to it flipping over the handle bars and throwing him/her though a car windscreen or they may be lucky and just land in the middle of the road where a on comeing car will swerve out the way across the road and kill four people standing at the bus stop

maybe if it pokeing out to bottom its so well hidden a old lady wont see it and trip cause here to die ??

A blind man walked into the side of my van on Saturday morning. I had parked it on someone's short drive and the front of my van was over hanging the pavement. He was tapping away at my van with his stick but I couldn't get to him to warn him. I felt a right :turd: about it.

I'm by no means a health and safety jobs worth, but do carry common sense @noddy having a hose sticking out the side of your van 2ft plus high is far more of a poss risk than one coming out flat over the pavement… I guess if your hose is really slack then it should fall flat quite close to your van, but coming out the underside of the van I personally think is a better way to go.

Most of us use cones so the warning is clear, but yeh sometimes all the precautions in the world might not help a blind lady falling, but push chairs and bikes etc can freely go over flat hoses without any issue like flipping out over the handle bars as you say.

But if it works for you and your happy with it then all is good :thumbsup:
