How did we all do today?

How did you all get on in todays torrential rain? 

I was dead lucky had a commercial on till lunch time that took the best part of my water, sods law the sun comes out could only get a few houses in this afternoon.

Horrible rain all day in Norfolk.

Left home at 9am

1 house & 5 bungalows then deffered last 4 houses to Friday as ive got a free day Thursday n Friday due to a 2 day job being cancelled ??

Weather looks as bad again tomorrow here

Exact opposite up here, managed to work till 12.15 then tipped it down, most of the afternoon, so came home. Always paperwork etc to catch up on.

Normally start at 8 but because it was pouring down, I watched quadrathenia then started at 10.

Managed to get to around 4.

More rain due in the south east tomorrow and Thursday ?.

Still going to work through it, then off to Malta on Friday to get away from this poxy rain ?

Got half a day then there was biblical downpour drains were lifted up within minutes, so sacked it off, it did improve but rained all day and into last night.

i have 3 waterproof jackets(2 goretex and a sailing jacket!)in the van....used all 3 yesterday....horrible day...carried on til 3pm,all scheduled work cleaned and a few of todays jobs..then the really torrential rain came.....

im off to lanzarote on monday for a week so just gotta carry on....ive got to get this weeks worked cleaned no matter what!

I think if the weather is that bad it makes you look desperate we work in light rain but anything worse  generally pack up unless it’s commercial jobs , I wouldn’t accept someone cleaning my windows in the middle of some storm and then expect me  to pay for it .

yes to be fair we really needed all this rain in suffolk. Hadnt rained for months, driest area of uk here and essex. Grass had stopped growing over a month ago. Wildlife and plant life will sure appreciate the drink.
