Money is ok could be better I think but I do not need to drive to many places and it keeps me busy when bad wether.5 bed house, cam You do it whenever You want?
Sort of. They are still living in it, so the house is being done in stages with them clearing a room for me as I go. So long as the downstairs is done by christmas they're happy- just a hallway, downstairs toilet, and a study with vaulted ceiling to do. I've got my window round coming again soon so I need to leave some time for that or else I won't be able to get another one in before December. As you know yourself its a bit of a juggling act. I'm using the weekends to try and get some of the people that have been waiting a long time out of the way.

I know well.I did some work today because I cannot fit much during the week.you have reasonable people.some of them want now and extras free of charge

most trad bottoms and wfp tops , usually because they dont have enough water in there vehicle, if you have a backpack you can wfp tops , the people will accept this more because they cant see it while sitting there. when more conffident and have a better water supply start doing a few bottoms. some will not like it.

you may loose some new customers if someone trad canvasses, but once you have some decent customers they will accept it as long as they are cleaned correctly.

most proffesional window cleaners are changing over, be it backpack or van mount. there is too much danger climbing ladders especially this time of year with damp slippy paths, decking ice and WINDS, with wfp these problems do not bother you.

i have cleaned in winds with wfp too windy for trad cleaning

it does pay for itself as you can get out more in bad weather conditions where you wouldnt be out if you were trad all the time.

concentrate on making your water pure first, once you have this mastered , green to go.

you can then look for rounds to buy on ebay , gumtree may take a few years to get established, or you may pack it all in if you cant get enough customers.

try to get a bit of work with any window cleaners local, for experience

Yeah, i have had a few customers ask "do you use a pole thing" they dont like it, can not win, I wanted to get one, now used one for a borrow and it and they guy uses it says you will get neck and back ache doing it all day long. But every person well customer I speak to does nto want the water fed pole way, must be round here they dont like it. had one custy who has me now as they dont like the pole and "i dont like the water everywhere".

I will be sticking with ladders, I no I sound mad and most people now on this site are wfp it seems, but I just feel custys prefer a trad cleaner if asked between the two and I think I can just see the window close up face to face with it, where from ground I can see **** all really, may look clean but whom is to say the frame ruber has not leaked a line of dirt, you never no, i seen it happen many times now, it worries me as I read online on various forums and posts and on FB people moan about it. I can not loose customers while building, maybe in the future I will test it. But for now I will have to stick to the dodgy ladders, yep ladders and window cleaner how odd. hee hee.
