Right, for a couple of years now I've been meaning to put a shed round it and lag it to stop it freezing, am now considering 3 six by six fence panels ( the garage can be the fourth!) and a sheet of ply on top. My problem is a door! Not sure if I could put one in a fence panel! Any other ideas??

you could cut a fence panel in half and make a door out of one of the half's

Yeah, that's the lines I'm toying with, with a bit of jiggery pokery I could strengthen the cuts with a few bits of 2x2

yer, thats all you need to do. the middle of the 6ft panel has already got a support there, just put another next to it on both sides leaving room to cut inbetween them and put hinges of the other side of it and away you go!

pls if you are covering the roof in felt to make it waterproof, you can use this for the roof instead of ply.

its cheaper and is as good,

would put some 2x1 along the underneth to give the roof some more strength
