Evening All. Is there an inline sprayer we could use for TFR application, similar to CC sprayers? It says the 100psi minimum needed so modified with our Rectus / EZ-Snap fittings (without the gun) and used in line, connected between reel and pole hose, could mix pure TFR with water from van system and apply mixture with brush. no need for separate backpack and pole with aplicator. Perhaps new product idea to apply chemicals for window and UPVC cleaning.

It looks a great idea but min pressure is 100psi. Most of our pumps max out at 100psi and by the time it's travelled down 100m of hose will be a fair bit lower. Plus a lot of people don't run pumps anywhere near max so you would have to go back to van to adjust.

I do like the idea though. If they did one with a min pressure of say 25psi then it sounds perfect.

I agree, it would not sell at that price, but it will if under £100. Thats most expensive one, but there are cheaper, and without gun it wil be much cheaper to maufactue. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253852463963

For me, the advantage is no backpack to charge and hide from frost and theves, and space saving in the van. Now I use garden sprayer for what I can reach, and neat trf in the bucket for tops, but loking for other ideas before I order a backpack, spare pole and applicator. is there anything else? thanks

We find a backpack or trolley is best for applying chemicals we always have a 10-1 mix of Virosol in ours

You can buy garden sprayer lances that are extendable like this one: https://mosskillers.co.uk/product/telescopic-extension  I don't have one but I was researching how to spray gutters etc without using a backpack and found this. It extends to 5.4m, so that's about 20ft with your reach. You would need to work out how to connect it to your garden sprayer.

Seems alright but we all have wfp so best just to use that and you can fit a sprayer attachment instead of the brush. Just remember to rinse it out after use. ?

Where did you but your spray nozzle from @Pjj?

That will sort it, didnt know they make them that long, thanks.

Now thinking should work the same way if I add rectus fitting to my garden sprayer hose, but will it have enough pressure to push chems up to 1st floor windows? If not its the backpack route to speed up and iprove my curent system.

Trouble with a pump up sprayer is you have to keep pumping it with an electric backpack it’s connect your pole to it and away you go so much quicker and easier

Cheers paul, may have a big roof to biocide in March and that looks perfect for it. ?
I made this up for roofs it’s brilliant you arnt holding any weight just go up the roof then keep going sideways back and forward coming down  the roof ,I have two nozzles on it and it’s good for any chemical application

They say it needs minimum of 3 bar to operate lance at over 5m from ground. They mention roofs, walls, and high fruit trees. So I guess it will be fine, just I haven't used one so can't testify it does or doesn't.

Rectus should be fine.

You are quite correct but if someone is starting up using a backpack for pure a garden sprayer with an extended lance for tfr or upvc cleaner might be an easy way to go especially on first cleans.

For people with vans then a spray nozzle on your pole and backpack is easiest way to go.

I had one of these, it was pretty **** to be fair. I then got a spray nozzle from da components and put it on my second pole, use this in conjunction with the pump sprayer from screwfix and it works a lot better. The only think I still have from the lance is the trigger.

Looks great, just wonder what its like pushing it up the roof and bumping up all the tiles?
