Inner reel connectors

Good evening fellow windies.

Noticed today I’ve got a leak on the connections on hoses from the spindle of one of my reels.

There is a metal barb that leaves the spindle which takes a half inch hose (garden hose).

How do you guys connect your  microbore to this?

Also, are there any j/g type connectors out there to join microbore to exceed blue hose?

It needs to be thin to go through my rollers.

Any links much appreciated.

Im assuming the half inch hose goes OVER the wider fitting, even with jubilee clips, don’t you get the odd drip seep through?

Thats right using jubilee clip
Other end i put a hose strenthener in no drips

I moved to the Pro26 connections from Gardiner's, use them on both the inside and outside of the hose. No leaks at all, spot on. Just ordered a new reel and i've bought the connections to connect this up the same way.
