Hey I'm knew to the forum and the waterfed method, but I recently spotted this ionics 1000 litre zero in a garage that some guys pulled out a transit, some of the housing cap ends are snapped, and I've not checked to see if it turns on yet, I was there to look at another van, I was just looking to know on whether could I get this going again replacement bits etc and also what would be a reasonable offer for it, any help is appreciated

Yes I’m sure it probably is, but 2 things to think about: Do you have the time, patience & small D.i.y skills to fix it up?

And Ionics are expensive. Could cost hundreds & hundreds to fix. If your set up is fine atm I wouldn’t bother

I would tank all the fancy ***** off keep the tank, take any pumps, controllers etc off and make a d.i.y system.

Then flog the rest of it and the filters etc on eBay.

Look how ridiculously complicated and expensive that thing is for purifying water.
