Merlin Ro Not Working Properly Please Help!

I have just tried to connect my hose up to my ro to fill my tank up , when i turn the tap on it works but when it goes through the ro it is not as loud as it should be and the reading is 34 on the tds coming out of the ro when it should be 15 ! So i turned it all off took the connecter off the tap and the build up of water was ridiculous , it fired out of the hose from the tap end , can some one help me please
