Hi Everyone, I am not a professional windie nor intend to be so it is purely for my own purposes. I have ordered and had delivered a 25cm F*LIQ and waiting for delivery of the Excelerator and a 25cm Liquidator 2.

The F*LIQ was bought on eBay and to my completely novice eye does not look right. One end of the fibre part looks rough compared to the other end. I have contacted the seller and they are assuring me it is just because it was folded for postage and just needs rubbing up a bit. I have tried that and although it looks a bit better it still doesn't look as good as the other end. It looks rough as though some fibres are missing. I am a pensioner and can ill afford to throw away £18 for something that is damaged and possibly will cause me problems. I have attached some photos of it as unpacked. Can anyone please advise me whether I should be holding out for a return and replacement of this. On the other hand I could be just an old fogey and worrying about nowt!View attachment 8730

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Cheers

Terry

It's fine

Once it has been wet and used the fibres will fluff up a bit

It is because it has been flattened in transit

Thank you too daveyboy. Very impressed b how fast the answers came in. Looks like I am worrying about nothing, Can't wait for the rest of the gear to arrive, should have been here yesterday.

Cheers
