Been covered many times but - as a champion of Halfords batteries thought I would give update on my latest pitch. My system is in bits at the moment due to some adjustments needed - I wanted to upgrade my 70Ah leisure Battery as it wasn't keeping up with the demands I was expecting. I decided to take my battery in to store for them to check the 'output' with the 'concern' that it wasn't performing and was giving intermittent results. I was told that they no longer carry out the capacitance test on leisure batteries as it's been proven not to work. Bearing in mind I handed over a fully charged battery with very vague reasoning for its return I was offered a brand new exchange battery & no voltage test was carried out (it was fully charged @13.6v). I don't know if this is a company wide opinion but having heard mixed reviews that warranty claims were being refused with other brands, as our industry doesn't suit the characteristics of a 'leisure battery', I am quite pleased with the outcome in my instance as I was allowed to upgrade to a 115Ah battery for a few quid more.
Still a thumbs up to Halfords from me [emoji106]
