Liquidator lines

I get this same problem occasionally. My thheory is that the tip of the squeegee is picki g up crap from my bucket on a belt. Check how filthy the bucket is and clean it if its grubby.

Yep, they work fine. A pretty tight fit however so make sure you use a bit of soap to help load it in the channel.

Just used the strip of Ettore on a job in a wagtail and it was so smooth, no trails.

I started to get lines on right hand top corner turn with the original rubber in my 10 and 14 inch liquidater channels.

When I put Razr red in problem solved.

Do not know whether the moerman rubber is the cause for the problems or my/our techniques.

ive got the moerman flip in the basket with 10 18inch rubbers but im strugling to pust the pay botton  :1f4a9:  just have a few questions is this squeegee beta than the wagtail slimline fliper im werryed the moerman flip will leve lines is it good on a trad pole?

ive had the wagtail for ages now its starting to get a bit tired so i wana try it but dont wana reget it lol  i found the wagtail; brill no lines and easy to use the only down side is the pad dont hold much water i use it on shop fronts only!

its spot on, I recommend it to everyone, especially for pole work. Not got the fliq but its my next purchase. I use a 14 tho

just remember you may need to make a couple tweaks to your technique, so don't write it off straight away

First of all I'd like to make it clear that none of us testers are 'sponsored'. Apart from 1x prototype and 1x release model Excelerator and 14" channel and Fliq we pay for almost all of our gear. We are under no obligation to 'hide' issues if we're having them. When we are sent prototypes to try and Moerman aren't ready for them to be made public we are asked not to show or comment. This is perfectly reasonable. I personally don't have these issues unless

1. The rubber is worn excessively at the tips

2. Is not set and cut and aligned pedantically at the ends

3. Incorrect angle is being applied on the turn.

4. Finally, as much as it pisses some off, my suggestion is to pin the rubber at the clip using retention pins...Bob's paper clip bits, a short length of plastic tie or the Unger Green Clips... this is with the current V2 clip. It holds the rubber firm and secure and allows zero movement on the turn.

If you have a normal (non dog-eared) channel and are using the Excelerator handle swap the Liquidator channel for the standard one and try it. At the end of the day Tony only you can nail the issue. From experience the guys who have the most problems are Wide Channel (Sorbo, NInja) and those who blade very quickly using the dive bomb technique with standard channels. Moving from either requires a real shift in technique and workflow. If all else fails? Bin it and go back to the status quo. The sun will still rise in the morning.

I started to get lines part way through morning using my liquidator and razr-red. Went to my go to squeegee, a 12inch brass unger that Ive had twenty odd years, with piece of razr-red from same batch that I had in the liquidator and....problem solved!!!!!.No lines.

When got home put a couple of bits of plastic ties as suggested above at the clips and liquidator working I think ok again.

I Like the liquidator when it,s going fine....but not fully confident to not have my unger on my belt as safety net.

Changed the rubber of my moerman liquidator to hard and used unger end clips. I'v now put my unger ninja down. The liquidator is my tool of choice now.
