Looking At Buying A Pole

WCF

Help Support WCF:

has anybody got one of those elite poles? and are they any goodThe elite poles from the water fed pole company seem to have similar spec to the gardiners poles. Not affiliated in any way by the way!

when you compare the elite and gardiners they are similar but when you compare to different brands of pole tehy are in a different league. I might get the elite pole so my names on the pole.

just done some working out with weights of poles and cost's

slx18 with hose, water in hose, super light gooseneck & super light brush comes in at 2437g (without weight of a tap) £304.20

my 18ft pole comes in at 2420g £55

cant believe my pole is lighter than gardiner pole for the same size! i like it!!!

as you said in a post before that its not true that my pipe is lighter than a proper wfp pipe, i proved it is and then that got me think on the over all weight of my pole compared to a top of the range pole.

it was just the wieght i was comparing nothing else. it just suprised me that i made a lighter pole than a top of the range pole.

What you proved is you weighed your pole and told us it was lighter no proof..I can not believe that a garden hose is lighter than a proffesional wfp hose .

Garden hose or airline hose they surely can not be lighter than a proper wfp, You are saying you are better than the professionals dont talk **** each time you pick up that pole you are carry 11.5 meters of hose and water even if you are doing a bungalow
gardern hose is 12mm dia thick rubber and airline ins 5mm thin nylon! a lot of diffrence there.

im not saying that i am better than the professionals, just sayin that the pole i made is ligher than one.

im affraid it is lighter than proper wfp hose. i have both here and put the both on the scales and mine was lighter with water in than the other without water!

as for bunglows i have a small 0.6m-1.5m pole that only has 1.2m of hose on it, so i dont carry that about all the time.
