I thought that myself mate, he went ahead to get it sorted without discussing it with me. I'll stand my ground in the mean time and keep this updated

C'mon Sky ain't that quick. To come out.. And technicians don't even no how much that stuff costs it's the office that does .. I bet he has upgraded so he can run more boxes thru the house .. And wen they were out they told him its been bashed few times And he seen a quick way get money ...

if no one seen you do it there is no proof! simple as. it seems to me he is taking the *iss and i would drop the service you provide and leave it at that.

ideally you should have went round when you got the call, to inspect and explain the reason you did not damage the dish.

It does Sounds strange that he gets in contact with you after he replaced the dish surely anyone would contact the person involved before you replace the item so they can pay it not other way round. Has he still got the damage one take pictures as proof Like others have said ask if he can supply you a invoice and his details and pictures for your insurance and say that they contact him and then see what he says about that. you know if he wants cash and can't supply no proof he trying one on

He's not even my customer his dish is just above the alleyway of a terrace house if you get me, he could even have had a mate say they replaced it. He can jog on :punch:

As I said in an earlier post I've bumped a few things with my ladders over the years including satalite dishes. I can't really see you hitting it hard enough to destroy it or even knock it out of alignment and not remember it. I even tore an 18 inch hole in some net curtains once and I remember feeing it through the ladders. Even though it was behind me it was obvious. It does sound like he's pulling a fast one. Even if he genuinely believes it, it doesn't make it true.

Sorry mate, nothing to do with me at all. Never touched your dish.By the way. I need a new dish installed myself but they said 3 weeks. Have you got the number for the same day service you used?
I like that one green lol

The last receiver I broke I I knew about it, and I've hit dishes quite a few times and you can hear the ladder hitting them

If you hit it pay for it if not tell the bloke to do one surely your not that much of a numpty not to have noticed if you had bashed it with your ladder
