New window cleaner basing business off bashing wfp

So a new window cleaner has turned up in the area, that is fine no problem at all, except he has wound me up as his entire marketing ploy is to bash the hell out of water fed pole, which is how I clean now, so is almost like an attack on my window cleaning.

Only traditional methods are used. The reason for this is simple. There is no damage in the form of scratches to Upvc frames and s...ills. Frames and sills are cleaner and whiter due to the fact they can be cleaned, and not just washed down with water. There is not Water marks or spotting left on glass.

you have to totally believe in yourself, i,m in town only guy WFP , yeh the comment are coming from the other windies , they will be watching every move, they will be interested to know if the switch to WFP has been good.You just have to go for it

this crap who is best WFP or trad we are profesional window cleaners when trad is requred we put on our boab and go for it

same like wise WFP, tthen if some new wonderful gear comes out we will buy that too, do the job quicker and better

Like he said, he knows both methods and for him WFP gives the best results, in his opinion. Not being disrespectful TAP, but have you used both methods?
I personally feel that there is a place for both, but if I can WFP a job instead of trad it, I will. It's quicker, safer, earns you your money quicker and on Georgians and leaded lights it definitely cleans better.

Personally if he was doing it in my area I'd shoot every argument he has down in flames. And the first ones I'd use which I do frequently are privacy, damage to property, customer being liable if he falls off his ladders on their property, fairy liquid rots rubber seals thus giving their Windows a 3 year lifespan. And that's just for starters.

I have heard of someone who would get trading standards /advertising standards to get him to provide proof of the large country houses he does , if he does,and then cold call them , then casually,mentioning the potential law suits they might have if he had an accident on their property-nothing like owning a big house to scare you of litigation but reasonable me would just ignore him- first rule of sales-never slag off the opposition-the new bloke is just going to wind people up.I can more or less guarrantee you wont lose any business and if you do it will be the ones that are more trouble than they are worth;
