So I currently just tuck my pole down the side of the tank. It seems to work fine and doesn't bang around but the bristles get bent and the brush is a little more difficult to use. I saw this idea from Mark Munro on Youtube but I am concerned that the pole will bounce around and smash into the door when i'm driving and cause damage to the pole. I have lining on the walls but its not ply and cannot hold any weight or I would have gone straight for some hooks. Any advice would be welcome!

I use a similar method. But instead of using ties I use the pipe hangers. The only other addition you could use is a foam collar which fits just in the pipe and then eliminates any movement. it works for me!

I’d be very surprised if the pole moved within the tube in the roof, there’s a surprising amount of friction when it’s laying in there... could just use a small bungee to hold it in place if it was a problem.
