Hiya lads and lasses. I am still fannying around trying to get myself a new car for my round and I am getting quite tempted by the Mitsubishi Lancer. I have my eyes on the following two:

User reviews seem to be very good. Expert reviews a little more mixed. Has anyone any experience of this model of car.

Just noticed that the Lancer is the second best rated car in the UK reliability index.....getting even more tempted.

Ignore the so called experts, they all compare it to the Evo, even though its designed for a completely different reason lol.

Defo a good car an if you find a recent one, should be good for years to come /emoticons/smile.png

i've got a focus 2.0tdci it pulls like a train and does 55-60mpg at 75-85mph, 38-42mpg round town

i tow my trailor with a 350litre tank i reckon with trailor and tank all in 500kgs and it hardly feels it.

The ford TDDI engines should be good, steer clear of the TDCI.
