Traditional cleaners whereabouts do you position your ladders on upstairs windows of your average 2 bed semi. Underneath the window? And do you stand on your two feet at the top of the ladder and clean the whole window that way or do some of you go above the window so you can be directly infront of it? Also, how do the A frame ladders differ and do you use different positioning for them?

Positioning of ladders is a personal thing to a degree , A frame pointers with a rubber top foot can be placed either side of the window or to any part of the window frame that can support the weight , also on uneven ground it’s far easier to get the ladder level without using a wedge , they are much better than a traditional ladder once you get used to them .

Not quite sure what you mean, but I had the top few inches of the ladder resting on the sill. and standing so the sill is roughly at waist height.
If that's any help.
