i may be cheap but not so cheerful at the mo...i need a holiday....a break ...time off...i only done one shop in memory....an estate agents...only a couple of times...so i cant say much...except...i dont like peoples..and shops have peoples..and fings in da way....and snotty kids finger prints...yukkky

Another thing about eateries. If you can't get in to do inside early, before they open, you have the (very inconvenient) problem of having to wait until the table(s) in the windows are free of people so that you can clean them. The garden centre and restaurant that I do has two tables in front of windows - and they are the most popular ones. sometimes I have to phaff about waiting to get in when customers leave. I now work a different way. I wait 'til 3pm (the restaurant finishes at four), work round the place and usually get the window tables with no trouble. Regarding payment; all the commercial jobs I do are cash, except when dealing with the local council. I have also learnt that with shops and restaurants etc. they won't have any money in the till until late on in the day, so leave it 'til then. I have one job where I have to pay to park, so keep all parking tickets and attach to A4 sheet and mark "parking for work".

as been mentioned unless you have lots of shops in one area its not worth it

Doubt whether you'll get anywhere near £40 PER WEEK from Costa or any of the other coffee/sandwich shops.

No, they make their money by charging £2.50 for a so called posh coffee with a swirly pattern on the top

I cleaned a casino in nottingham in a old coop building and every time we soaked the posh cafe below, after a year of this she said can I do the cafe windows after for free food? OMG we jumped at that offer and once a month for 5 mins work the 4 of us had take out breakfasts and tea and coffees /emoticons/smile.png
