Problems with univalve using wfp horizontally

Anyone had this problem?

I use Gardiner slx wfp for upper floors and over obstacles.

When using horizontally the hose pulls out the t piece by the brush when using the univalve, it's because there is a straight pull on the hose. Is there a solution that will enable me to continue to use univalve? I have one unusual property where there are large vertical windows inset into the roof. The only way to reach them is to pitch a ladder to just above ground floor gutter, using a standoff. The windows can then be reached using pole horizontally about about 8ft. Any ideas?

If you purchased a Gardiners brush, it should have come with a small red insert.

This fits into the JG fitting by the brush and stops the hose from being pulled out.

Do you mean when you alter the brush angle so the hose is pulling straight on the t piece?

I had that at first.

The trick is to put a crimp on the pole hose where it goes into the gooseneck, so you are pulling against the crimp not the t piece.

Or just tape the pole hose to the gooseneck same thing.

Which is exactly what the Univalve instructions tell you to do @Steve E.

Also using this crimp, or o ring (clip) the correct hose is needed.

Steve sells his blue hose which has stiffer walls.

He also sell pipe inserts to stop the pipe collapsing

and if you don't want to use the o ring method then this also works
