not many people bought the k stystems when they first came out spartan,if memory serves me right they started to get the reputation brodex had as in not answering phone calls or missing parts etc.

i honestly thought they'd pack it all up years ago.

I remember one user having an issue with his system that included a 4040 setup @kevinc250. Eventually @doug atkinsongot involved and discovered that the supposedly commissioned and working system wasn't connected up correctly. It was a Friday afternoon and the fitter was desperate to get a head start on his journey back home.

The purchaser couldn't get a response from K Systems to sort his problem out.

I'm pretty sure that was reported on the other forum.

However, there are lots of other windies who have had systems fitted and they are quite happy with them. However, One comment was;

Two of my mates have k systems fitted in their vans.
To be honest they told me they're happy with the system, just the after sales is shocking - his phone can be switched off for days.
They are what they are cheap systems.

Another commented.

I was happy with my system and saved a lot of money buying through him compared to other prices. That was about 3 years ago.

K System uses standard components and it looks like they use the same standard steel frame that Grippa sell to suit the Wyedale tank. What can go wrong? It could only be down to poor quality workmanship during the fitting stage or fault items used in the component's manufacture.

I've done a search on the other forum and the responses to K Systems are mainly positive. I don't know what that means tbh. Like KevinC I also remember reading of numerous complaints about that company in the early days.

thanks guys for your feedback regarding K-Systems....

Shame, back to the search...

Very surprised theres no companies in London that sell/install or at least none that i've heard about ...

I was looking at booster pumps as well, but not sure if it would be suitable with my set up. I currently don't have an outdoor tap, so run my hose from the bathroom tap, which hasn't got a screw thread so have to clamp it on. If I turn the water up higher than a trickle, the attachment just bursts off, meaning water production is p*$$ poor. Do you reckon a booster pump could solve this, or would the increased pressure backup to the tap attachment? hope that makes some sense lol

A booster boosts water from your tap, so I would doubt you would get any back pressure? A threaded tap would be ideal though.

From what you write you need to get a proper outside tap fitted. You are never going to get it right the way you are doing it.

U can get adaptors for kitchen taps.  Maybe bathroom ones which allow to pump water out your window.  My kitchen one never come off.

I use the hozelock adaptor, never come off by accident, but easy to remove

yeah, they're fitting is a bit dear - nearly £500....
think you be better off with the diy route, look simple enough to fit (not done it, YET...)
