Does it matter witch way the pump goes? Looking at people's van set ups some have it upside down

I mounted my pump high on bulkhead and yeah caused air locks. Lowered it and all seems fine now. /emoticons/biggrin.png that reminds me GTO thanks for the tip on the microbore and the hosepipe trick. Worked a treat mate!!you also want the in out of the pump as low as possible, to prevent air locks.
these pump can be mounted any way, i have 2 in my RO laid flat.
