Put 2 litres of petrol in diesel van

WCF

Help Support WCF:

it will be fine i put that much in my t4 everytime i fill it with cooking oil in the winter to stop it freezing and to make it thinner , i wouldnt ever bother to keep filling it up , just refill when its down to half atank job done

For a fact it will be fine

You would be surprised how much you can add to diesel with no issues

Any one who was a lorry driver over 20 years ago would know the adding petrol to the tank trick to keep things clean and running sweet

Bit smokey until you next fill up but then it's fine

People have also been adding it to biodiesel for years

For how long should I refill on half a tank?
couple of time mate and it will be gone my lads did this four times last year because they were to busy talking rubbish or looking at birds at the petrol station lucky the most was a tenner and it was in our sprinter so we just put 110 quids worth of dev in it and it never missed a beat

i put £3 in my vivaro 2.0cdti once and then had to chuck £40 deisel in after van was fine , my m8 had a astra van 2.0d and he put £20 petro, in then desided sod it im a tite ars so hope it will be ok with out briming the tank  :1f602:  a few minits down the road he broke down and had to get some one out to suck out the petrol then had to put deisel in any way, a month or so later the fuel pump desided to pack in  :1f61c:  morel of the story dont be a tite ars  :1f44d:

Diesel's work on compression so you can get away with 50% of the tank petrol and 50% diesel.

Buggered if you've put diesel in a petrol as it won't work.
It actually works better than putting petrol into diesel from a video I watched on YouTube. Diesel engines need lubrication or something

Putting petrol in your diesel car may damage your fuel system if not dealt with properly. When you put petrol fuel in, the mix of petrol in diesel acts as a solvent, reducing lubrication and causing damage to the pump as the metal parts come into contact and rub together.
