If you can then self build is best, if you are going to be using a lot of water an R/O would probably be cheaper in the long run. If it's only a few hundred litres a week then DI only would suffice.

Do you know roughly how much it would cost to self build? Only thing is I don't want to empty water every night and fill it up every morning is there a way round this

If you just run through DI, advise double DI, then anything from £25 empty and used on EBay or around £100 full of new resin from a reputable seller. Then decent pole circa £200.

You will also have to decide if you go Van mount or trolley

Would definitely be van mounted so would want it coming under the van so I can lock the doors mate, and I will need to have a look into it cheers mate

If ur soft water a double DI is fine I’m using roughly 5000 litres a month and it costs bout £35 a month, alls I’d say is spend abit extra money on a good pole
